Punchkin

I have lots of pictures to post thanks to my amazing parents who spoiled us with a new camera for Christmas!  They are the main reason I keep up the blog (I am frequently reminded it needs to be updated) so I'm sure they were motivated to get us that gift. :)  Love you Mom and Dad!  In our latest news, Jordan passed the Part III board exam which means he's done and board certified.  We think this is clearly awesome, and we are very proud of him and all his hard work!  We all enjoyed a Christmas break and trip to Utah and Colorado.  It was great to see family and we enjoyed a view of the mountains we haven't had for a while.  We enjoyed being at Shawna's house for Christmas and getting to see all our families.  It was especially fun to see Uncle Mark for the first time since before his mission, and it was so fun to hear him speak Mandarin.
Pick-pocketing Uncle Mark

 Slip=costume, right?

 Bryn was an angel and Ellie was baby Jesus for the family nativity.

Christmas morning

Thoroughly 'enjoying' DIA at 5 am with our expert travelers.  They really were so good for which I am grateful!

Our trips weren't nearly long enough and now we are back to our normal routine.  We've enjoyed  some Bronco football [mostly enjoyed] and some time together.  Jordan's rotation this month is a little slower so we've enjoyed seeing him a little more.  Brynlee and Ellie are getting better and better at entertaining each other which I love.  Brynlee calls her "Punchkin." Ellie especially loves to watch Brynlee dance and cracks up when she falls down.  Our downstairs neighbors don't appreciate all the falling that occurs here.  Brynlee is getting good at sounding out words.  I give my ipod all the credit :).  She would play games on it all day if I would let her.  She loves being a Sunbeam at church.  Ellie is rolling across the room and even scoots short distances.  She is now sleeping in Brynlee's room and I can't say it's going very well.  They wake each other up quite a bit.  Suggestions are welcome! We still haven't had her 4 month appointment (she's getting close to 6 months) so I'm not sure what she is weighing these days.

Our little Tebow fan thanks to the Rydeski's for spoiling us!

 She likes those Cougars too! :)

 Not so sure about that rice cereal stuff...

The picture below is Brynlee at the same age.  I think they still look crazy similar!

They are pretty cute girls!  You should book a trip to St. Louis...really you should!
